Trip Details

Relax and Indulge New ZealandGet in some prime rest and relaxation with an indulgent spa and winery experience in this New Zealand vacation deal. Explore some of the finest wineries in Auckland at Waiheke Island then discover the cultural and geothermal wonderland in Rotorua and end with a luxury hot pools experience in Queenstown.

Auckland

You’ll arrive in Auckland where a shuttle will take you to your 4-star apartment-style hotel in the heart of Auckland’s CBD. After a comfortable and relaxing night of rest, start your trip off with a bit of vineyard hopping on Waiheke Island, known as the “Island of Wine.” You’ll visit up to four of Waiheke’s finest wineries, meeting and greeting with local vintners as you taste some of the best Sauvignon Blanc’s in the world.

And don’t worry, if you’re not a wine expert yourself, or you think a “bouquet” is just a bunch of flowers – the vineyard’s winemaker will be right there to guide you through your tasting.

Then, board a luxury coach to Rotorua, the “Sulphur City”.

Rotorua

Along this full-day, scenic adventure you’ll ride through rural townships and small farming settlements surrounded in green rolling hills and pastures that delight the eye.

You’ll ride to the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and tour this world-famous subterranean site on a “black-water” silent raft cruise. Thousands of luminous blue glow worms line the cavern walls for a captivating underground light show. Then, continue on to the volcanic capital of New Zealand – Rotorua

Geothermal RotoruaDid you know that New Zealand is in the Pacific “Ring of Fire”? There is so much geothermal activity that Rotorua was built right inside a volcanic crater, so don’t be alarmed when you arrive at that familiar sulfuric scent emanating the city.

Just think of it as the Earth’s magic at work right beneath your every step.

In Rotorua, you’ll visit the Agrodome Farm to tour the grounds of authentic, working farmland. You’ll see a proper sheep-shearing demo and see other animals that live on the farm.

Then, you’ll arrive at Te Puia Institute, one of Rotorua’s most famous attractions. Te Puia combines the best of New Zealand’s indigenous Maori culture and geothermal wonders.

  • See Whakarewarewa, an authentic, traditional Maori village inviting visitors into its backyard to share the Maori way of life.
  • Watch demonstrations of traditional Maori woodcarving and weaving.
  • Explore an array of geysers, boiling mud pools and bright, colorful silica deposits covering the landscape of this geothermal valley.

Arrive at your hotel in Rotorua, where a warm welcome by your gracious hosts awaits you. You’ll be within walking distance of museums, galleries and other top Rotorua attractions.

The next day, relax and recharge with a visit to the world-famous Polynesian Spa. You’ll indulge in soothing hot pools, mineral and alkali baths. Soak in healing, detoxifying hot spas while you soak in the amazing view overlooking Lake Rotorua.

Queenstown From Above

Queenstown

After the most restful sleep of your entire life, wake up and jet off to New Zealand’s South Island for Queenstown. See some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in this adventure resort town, where you can ski, sky dive and bungy jump among towering snow-capped peaks and toward a glittering Lake Wakatipu.

Settle into your new surroundings with a luxury, hot pools experience. Immerse yourself in a private, open-air hot pool surrounded by beautiful views and fresh, mountain air. This luxury spa indulges all of your senses from start to finish. Toast to a great evening with a couple of complimentary glasses of bubbly. Tease your taste buds with a seasonal, fresh fruit arrangement. Aromatherapy burners sweeten the air with an array of relaxing scents.

Finally, embark on the Queenstown Wine Trail. You’ll visit two award-winning wineries, tour an underground wine cave and enjoy a wine-paired gourmet lunch.

The perfect nightcap to a restful and relaxing week.

We think that once you get back from your trip, you’ll be ready for anything. The best part? You didn’t have to add more work to your ever-increasing load by planning a thing.
